”Hot” night for the occupiers: in Melitopol, smoke rose above the Russian base

On the night of September 16, explosions rang out in the temporarily captured Melitopol of the Zaporizhzhia region.
– Another “hot” night for the occupiers! – commented on the published footage, – the Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.
According to the mayor, while the Russian occupiers were reporting on 100 percent air defense operation, thick black smoke was rising over the airfield where the invaders had set up a base.
Currently, the city authorities are investigating the details of the night explosions.
The night of September 16 was loud in the city of Valuykі, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, as well as nearby villages.
There, after the explosions, the lights went out for several hours, and eight private residential buildings and three cars caught fire.
The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, hastened to blame the attack on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, although local residents reported the launch of more than 20 rockets on the territory of the region.
According to preliminary information, one person died, two others were injured.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 205th day.
