Defense forces are entrenched in the liberated territories of Kherson region and Mykolaiv region – OС South
Units of the Defense Forces carry out stabilization measures and are entrenched in the liberated territories of the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. This is reported by the Operational Command South.
– Our units are cleaning the territories, including – looking for disguised Russians, abandoned equipment, which replenish the exchange fund and the same Russian Lend-Lease, – the message says.
It is also noted that the enemy is setting up the fortification of defensive lines on the left bank of the Dnieper and is trying to hold the temporarily captured territories.
At the same time, the aggressors are shelling the positions of the Defense Forces and the newly liberated settlements of Kherson region and Mykolaiv region with artillery and mortar weapons.
– Conducting aerial reconnaissance in order to identify our positions and adjust artillery fire does not stop. During the night, flights of about one and a half dozen unmanned spies were observed in the Berislavsky, Khersonsky and Kakhovsky districts of the Kherson region, – OС South reports.
Along the entire contact line, the enemy continues to conduct an active defense. For this purpose, multiple rocket systems, artillery systems of various calibers and mortars are used.
It is reported that at night the Rashists once again covered Nikopolshchyna with Grads and barrel artillery of 152 caliber. Fortunately, no one was injured, but destruction and damage to human settlements was recorded, the extent of which is still being determined.
– Missile and artillery units of the Defense Forces also fired at new positions of the enemy and areas of concentration of manpower, equipment and weapons. There are 19 ships and boats in the enemy fleet, including 1 missile carrier ready for a volley of eight calibers. All of them are maneuvering along the coast of Crimea, – the command said.
