Hanging on branches: occupants mocked Red Book hamsters in Kherson region

In Kherson region, Russian occupants mocked not only civilians but also animals. For fun, they hanged Red Book hamsters.
The photo from the position left by the Russians was published by ecologist Mykhailo Rusin.
He was engaged in a project to preserve the gray hamster in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions until 2021.
– In the photo, one of the hanged men is a gray hamster, the Red Book of Ukraine – Rusin wrote.
In the photo, you can see that the rodents were hung on branches by their tails and necks. As a result of such abuse, the animals died.
Earlier it became known that before fleeing from the right-bank Kherson region, Russian invaders stole several raccoons from the zoo.
According to the founder of the UAnimals movement Oleksandr Todorchuk, the animals were taken not by ordinary Russian soldiers, but by representatives of the military command.
