Unsuccessfully: the enemy is trying to advance in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions
The Russian army does not stop trying to advance in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions, but so far without success. Ukrainian defenders restrain the enemy, fierce fighting continues.
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the Armed Forces, the Russians are using fire, trying to improve their tactical position, and are actively conducting aerial reconnaissance.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy shelled with the use of barrel and jet artillery in the areas of the settlements of Raihorodok, Berestov, Rozdolivka, Tetyanivka, Mala Piskunivka, Verkhnyokamianske, Ivano-Daryivka, and Siversk.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Russian army opened fire on military and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Bakhmutske, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Mayorsk, Diliivka. Units of the Russian army tried to conduct offensive battles in the areas of the settlements of Vesela Dolyna and Zaitseve.
In the Avdiiv direction, the enemy fired with barrel, rocket artillery, and tanks in the areas of the settlements of Opytne, Pervomaiske, and New York, and carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Vremivka, Neskuchne, Oleksandropil.
In the Novopavlіvsk direction, the Russians fired at the positions of Ukrainian defenders using tanks, barrel artillery and multiple rocket launchers in the area of the settlement of Zolota Niva. The enemy launched an airstrike in the area of Maryinka settlement. The Russian army tried to conduct an offensive battle in the area of the settlement of Vodyane, but without success.
