Please, don’t be late! Zelensky called on the European Parliament to speed up Ukraine’s accession to the EU
If EU countries had applied preventive sanctions, Russia would not have gone to war with Ukraine. If Nord Stream-2 had been blocked in time, Russia would not have created a gas crisis. At least there was such a chance. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelensky during his speech before the European Parliament on March 24.
According to him, Ukraine and Russia are two different worlds: the Russian military does not see what dignity is, they do not know what conscience is, we do not understand why we value our freedom so much. This, according to the president, determines who should be in Europe.
And now you and I are preparing Ukraine’s membership in the European Union. Finally, here I ask you not to be late, please. You have compared these worlds this month. And they understood who is worth what, – the president emphasized.
Zelensky stressed that most EU countries are already for us. However, he appealed separately to the leaders of France, Germany and Hungary to support Ukraine.
