Massive shelling in the Donetsk region and explosions in the Kherson region: what is the situation in the regions
The Russian enemy, in the past 24 hours, has been mercilessly shelling the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine with aviation and artillery.

Most of all, the occupiers hit the settlements of the Donetsk region: in the past 24 hours – five missile strikes on Kostyantynivka (one dead, 18 wounded), one strike – on the recently liberated from the Russians Pavlovka in the Ugledar community.
More than 10 shelling from MLRS and small arms artillery were recorded in Avdiivka, all targeting residential areas, and civilian infrastructure. Marinka and Krasnogorovka were also shelled from MLRS.
Four people were wounded in Zaitseve in the Svitlodarsk community. One person was killed and one injured in Pereyizne of Zvanivka municipality.
Late on July 9, the occupiers launched a rocket attack on Chasovoye Yar. Six dead and five wounded civilians are known so far. At least three dozen people are under the rubble.
The region is without gas supply and partially without water and electricity. The population is advised to evacuate.
During the night, the enemy shelled Kharkiv – several hits in Slobodsky and Osnovyansky districts. There, residential houses and an educational institution were damaged. Two people are currently hospitalized.
Throughout the day in the region, the occupiers struck in the Chuguyiv, Kharkiv, and Bogoduhiv districts. Houses, outbuildings, and open areas were on fire. One person was killed, one was wounded, and one was hospitalized.
In the Luhansk region, the Russian army is trying to advance into Seversk, but so far, unsuccessfully. The Russians are concentrating troops near Bilogorivka, shelling the surrounding settlements, and conducting air strikes.
In the Mykolaiv region – the shelling of villages in Berezneguvatska Information on casualties and damage is being clarified.
Yesterday afternoon there was shelling in the Shirokivska community. Three people were injured.
Numerous explosions and fires were recorded throughout the day in the Kherson region, including in Chernobaivka. Fields and forests are burning in vast areas of the region. The situation is critical in the communities of the Berislavsk district, particularly in the villages of Kalinovskaya TO, Velikoalexandrovska, Vysokopillya, and Nova Vorontsivka.
There is a critical shortage of medicines and medical and educational personnel.
In the Chernihiv region at night, mortar fire near the village of Mykolaivka (Semenivska community), no fatalities.
In the Sumy region, the enemy fired mortars and small arms artillery. Preliminarily – no casualties.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Krivorozhsky district came under fire again – people were not hit.
